We are Film Judges!!!!

We have been busy busy busy. One of the coolest thing that we have been asked to do this week is be judges for the 48 hour film challenge for the Detroit Windsor International Film Festival. We've gone though a lot of short films, and we can't wait to present the results. To all those who were a part, Good Job!

The DIA

We haven't posted in a while because we've been really busy. We are just about to launch our new site and blog, so stayed tune for that.

In the meantime, we wanted to post up another video that highlights the new and improved Detroit Institute of Arts. We were in such awe, that the week after we shot the video we all went back just to look at all the new stuff ourselves. There is a LOT of new cool interactive things. If you haven't been there since the reopening, you HAVE to go.

The Insyderz - The Hunted

I have several friends who have been in the band, The Insyderz. So in 2005, when they asked me to tape their final concert, I gladly accepted. More recnetly, I ran into my friend, Chris Arace. He is one of my favorite people that I've had the pleasure to know in my life so far. Anyway, he was one of the cameramen on this shoot, so I wanted to show him some of the fruits of our labor. So, here you go Chris:

GM Style Event

For those who don't know, the GM Style Event is a fashion/automotive/music event that General Motors puts on to kick off the Auto show. We had the chance to go this year and document the event, which was AWESOME! Kid Rock, Mary J. Blige, and Maroon 5 were the musical Guests, we had the chance to interview Nick Cannon, Jerome Bettis, Adrian Brody, and many others. Creating film and video for a living, working the red carpet and getting to talk to people you admire, really makes everything seem like a fairy tale. I can't wait until next year.

While we were there, we also asked some of the celebrities about the city of Detroit...

Boogie Fever

I am not one to go to clubs, but I got the chance to shoot at Boogie Fever just before Christmas, and I must say that it is a fun place to be. We had so much fun talking to people and the staff. They are all great. If you have the chance go check it out.

Live in Detroit

Since we've been creating promotional videos lately, we were asked if we would make one for Genesis the Church to highlight a live worship event that they were holding in Detroit. What made this special is that they were going to record it live as well, so they wanted to get people to come out and enjoy themselves. Needless to say, the event was fantastic! We're looking forward to the next one.

Royal Oak Music Theatre & Morrissey

We received a call last minute to see if we would shoot a promotional video at the Royal Oak Music Theatre. We immediately said yes, because the ROMT and us have a history together...We absolutely LOVE that place. Then they told us that Morrissey was playing and we would have media credentials to shoot where we wanted. When we were revived, we picked ourselves off the floor and said ABSOLUTELY, the result is as follows:

Lions Tailgating

Wow. We never have gone tailgating for a Lions game, but let me tell you...what a party! We had absolutely no idea. While we can't really afford to go to the Lions games too often, we are seriously considering hanging out each Sunday at Eastern Market to have a good time. Everyone is super-friendly, and it really showcases how wonderful and hospitable Detroiters can be.

Village of Rochester Hills

As of late we've been creating some short promotional videos for Visitdetroit.com. This was the first one we did highlighting the Village of Rochester Hills outdoor shopping mall. We had a blast here love the variety of stores and restaurants they offer...our favorites: Maggie Moos and Starbucks...go figure.
